Honesty First
Technical advice comes first
Every founder deserves honest technical advice, even if it means selling less. Not every project is meant for us — but if a project comes to us, we give it our best.
It's easier, short-term, to tell a prospective client what they want to hear. It's better for both sides, long-term, to tell them what's actually true — including when that means recommending a smaller scope, a different technology, or occasionally another team entirely.
This isn't a policy we adopted for optics. It comes from watching what happens when it's skipped: scope grows past what was actually needed, budgets get spent on complexity nobody asked for, and trust erodes the moment the gap between promise and delivery becomes visible.
In practice, this means our first conversations are as much about scoping down as they are about scoping up. If we don't think we're the right fit, we'll say so before any contract is signed.
