Most note apps ask you to organize before you write. CCS Text Editor starts from the opposite assumption — write first, structure later if you need to. It's local-first, so it's fast and works offline, with cloud sync layered on top rather than built as the primary path.

Why we built it

We wanted a tool for our own daily writing — planning notes, draft copy, meeting notes — that didn't come with the overhead of a full document suite. It's small enough to stay out of the way, which is also why we keep shipping it as a standalone product rather than folding it into something larger.
